Prescription Drug Plans (PDP)

Prescription drug plans (PDP) are insurance plans that help cover the costs of medications prescribed by a doctor. These plans are often part of Medicare, specifically known as Medicare Part D, which assists beneficiaries in paying for self-administered prescription drugs. Part D plans are usually paired with Medicare Supplements Part D plans all contain formularies for the medications that they cover and are set in a Tiered system.
